After doing some research online to find someone who would professionally restore and hand re-tin my copper cookware, I knew Sherwood Tinning, Nick and Josh would be the right choice. I was definitely right in my decision. So far I’ve brought 46 pieces of copper cookware in, some in pretty bad shape, and they were returned to me like new. What I loved seeing in my antique pieces upon their return was that care was taken to ensure they looked excellent and were 100% functional, but the signs of decades of use were not erased and you could still see that they were old pans.
The first time my wife and I met with Nick and Josh, we ended up staying there and talking with them for an hour and a half. They are some of the most genuinely friendly people you will meet. After leaving that first time, it was like having two friends that it seemed like we had known for years.
Between the great communication, expert craftsmanship, and friendliness you cannot go wrong with Sherwood Tinning. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to restore and re-tin your copper items. You won’t be disappointed.

Nick from Sherwood Tinning has looked after my pans for many years now. I have a collection of 28 pans, most of them have been to Nick for refurbishment and personal initials stamped on. Four have just been returned to me, the only thing is that they look to good to be used. When I sent them a couple of weeks ago they looked a sorry sight but look at them now.
